About PossAbility Unlimited

Lauren is a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in medical/surgical, home health, and pediatric nursing before starting PossAbility. Much of her nursing career has involved care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, and over the years Lauren has become known as a specialist in the field, even publishing a peer-reviewed article about autonomic dyreflexia in 2023. Medical care is Lauren’s forte and she loves being a part of it all! In her free time, Lauren loves to read, play the piano, relax with Eric and their daughter, travel, and sit on the beach.

Adam received his undergraduate degree in Human Biology (BA) at the University of Kansas-Lawrence and then received a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Kansas, as well. He completed his family medicine residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he became involved with PossAbility. He currently resides in Wichita, Kansas, where he practices family medicine. Adam has an interest in medical missions and goes to the Dominican Republic once a year for medical mission trips. He also enjoys reading, spending time with his wife Rebecka and friends, bowling, and KU Athletics.

Eric Harmison is Lauren’s husband. While he says he joined the leadership team initially by default, he is an amazing asset to the team and has taken on increased responsibilities over the years. In his free time, Eric likes to work on DIY and home projects, read about boats, scuba dive, travel, and relax with Lauren and their daughter.

Rianna has been a part of PossAbility on the home team in Fort Wayne since the beginning. One year she even catered the annual fundraiser! Rianna is a registered dietician and offers great support for our individuals with SCIs. In her free time, Rianna loves to do CrossFit, volunteer in the community garden, and prepare for her black belt exam.
